REPORTS TO CONGRESS

The CFTC submits an annual report to Congress regarding the Whistleblower Program, customer education initiatives, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Customer Protection Fund, which funds the Whistleblower Program, including whistleblower awards and customer education initiatives.

The annual reports to Congress are required by a subsection of the "Commodity Whistleblower Incentives and Protection" section of the Commodity Exchange Act, 7 U.S.C. ยง 26(g)(5), which specifies items required to be included in the report. The section also established the Customer Protection Fund.

The Reports to Congress contain information about the number of whistleblower Form TCRs filed, the number of whistleblower awards, customer education initiatives, and information regarding the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Customer Protection Fund.
