Section 23 of the Commodity Exchange Act (7 U.S.C. ยง 26) is the statutory section that created the CFTC Whistleblower Program. The Whistleblower Rules (17 C.F.R. pt. 165) are the rules implementing Section 23 of the Commodity Exchange Act. Both items provide detailed information about the program and rules for whistleblower tip submissions and award applications.
